Wish I’d stick with huawei band 6
I went for this model as it seemed like it would be an upgrade from my previous watch. Half the time I can’t get Alexa to work, it doesn’t consistently log every exercise workout (did 45 minutes strength training this morning and it registered 0 calories and no heart rate data), logged only 2 hours of sleep and said I was awake for the rest of the night, when I wasn’t and I’m regularly having to disconnect Bluetooth and pair to my phone. My last watch picked up when I had been walking for over 10 minutes or doing some other form of activity, but this one doesn’t. I wish I hadn’t been lured by the option to answer calls (people can’t hear me on the other end) or Alexa as it just wasn’t worth the extra money for a watch with functions that only work some of the time. Disappointed with the sleep analysis too - seems like you have to pay to upgrade to receive more detailed feedback, but I won’t be doing that if it can’t even record a full night’s sleep at present!
GoodISH- with reservations
Two things irk me a lot. The sleep register does NOT correctly record time awake, as do devices from other manufacturers. I know - I am the one that was awake! If it doesn't correctly register times when I am awake, why on earth should I assume that it is accurate in any other sleep register processes? I find distatseful any apps or other purchases that engage in con-man tactics to get me to spend more money. The fact that one has to BUY tools to see reviews of data over time is a cheap and nasty tactic. Other brands don't employ this creeping approach - why not just put the price up a few qid and give a GOOD service, rather than one that smells of back-street markets? I now wish I had bought such as Barmin or Fitbit.
Blood pressure monitor ****
Overall not bad, but not impressed! I take 2 tablets daily for high blood pressure, just managing 140/85. Watch says 109/71, which wouldn’t raise any alarm bells. I bought the watch specifically for this reason, but as you can see it is hopeless! I have sent feedback asking if it can be re-calibrated, twice. No one answers. Battery level is great compared to old watch, which got to the stage of needing charging every night. I would say I get almost a week out of it, so as a watch it’s fine, but is expensive if that is all I am getting out of it.
Amazfit GTS 2
After initial teething issues for setting up, it seems the watch performs reasonably well, not totally accurate for Pool Swimming laps but offers good overall stats and the GPS seems accurate for outdoor cycling. The watch is lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear all day and all night. Battery life for me is around 4.5 to 5 days between charge. Receiving tele calls works well and is crystal clear reception. All in all a great watch for the money.
